VÄXJÖ LAKERS WINS SWEDISH HOCKEY LEAGUE 20/21

iCast would like to congratulate our customer Växjö lakers for winning both the serie and the gold medal in the Swedish Hockey League 20/21. The victory is the third for Växjö Lakers who won both 14/15 and 17/18 - an impressive achievement.

At the same time we would also like to wish our customer Rögle BK all the best after the final against Växjö Lakers. This was the first ever final for Rögle BK but probably not the last. A great season nevertheless.

EV ZUG WINS SWISS NATIONAL LEAGUE 20/21

iCast would like to congratulate our customer EV Zug for winning both the serie and the gold medal in the Swiss National League 20/21. Last time EV Zug won the championship was 97/98 so we hope the team with everybody involved enjoy and feel proud about the great achievement this season.

VASA SPORT INVESTS IN A TOP MODERN MEDIASYSTEM FROM ICAST

Vasa Sport from Vasa in Finland has decided to invest in a top modern media system from iCast  for the new Vasa Elektriska Arena. The investment comprises a new media cube in the iCast seamless design, a digital scoreboard, VIP-screens, TV-studio and control system for media management with accompanying graphical match effects.

The Media Cube as such will be the first of its kind in Finland and will lift the overall experience significantly compared to traditional media cubes. Higher resolution, larger display area and visible effects in 360-degrees are some of the features the audience will experience. Furthermore, Vasa Sport invested in a new TV-studio to enhance the experience for the audience even more. The control system is completely Mac-based and fully scalable for future expansions.

- The new Vasa Elektriska Arena will be a very modern arena. Vasa Sport has already decided to invest in the restaurant areas- and concept. Now we take the next step by investing in a top modern media system. We want to make the arena one of the best in Finland regarding sport-, entertainment- and other large venues, says Vasa Sport Chairmen Heikki Hiltunen.

After tonight’s performance, Vaxjo Lakers are the Swedish SHL champions and won the national hockey championship after a tough match against Skelleftea AIK. Lagan Construction AB, which modernizes and expands Troja Ljungby Bobcat Arena is investing in a full scale media system from iCast. The contract includes a new media cube, LED-banners, TV studio, iCast Scoreboard and iPad-based control system to manage all the media. The system will be installed for the inauguration of the modernized arena for the upcoming season.

LAKERS EXPANDS ITS MEDIA SYSTEM WITH LED BANNER

Vaxjo Lakers expands its media system in Vida Arena, with an additional 26 meters digital LED banner. The banner gives exposure during TV broadcasts and a better audience experience when using different effects during the match. iCast won the contract to deliver a complete sport arena system with LED displays, control system, scoreboard and a graphic package to Bombardier Arena in Västerås.
